A Competence Management Supported by Recommendation Mechanism

The constant changes in social, economic and political scenario have required tightly response time from organizations and ability to reconfigure its resources to remain competitive. In this context, this article aims at presenting a recommendation mechanism for a competence model to improve the competence gaps analysis and identify the better Development Plan for Employees (DPE), which consist of training and development for knowledge development through the use of a corporate competence management system. Besides, this article presents a case study that shows the gain of use the recommendation mechanism in a corporate environment which has a competence management system.
